“A Week That
Shapes A Lifetime”
Each year, American Legions throughout the state sponsor a young man to
attend the Boy’s State Leadership Program held at Rider University. Boys are
selected by their schools based on strength of character, community commitment
and a personal interest in
government and democracy.
The Boys' State experience is centered around a program that exposes and
teaches young men the principles of state government and how they can be
instrumental in changing the face of legislation through leadership and
knowledge.
John Paul Golinski traveled to Rider University for this week long
experience. We can expect him to bring back to his school and
community a better understanding of leadership. As a young
leader, we would hope to see John active within his social
groups, on school projects and in his sports team.
